I coudn't find anything on the security of W-2's and paychecks. I'd just like to confirm for my employer that the employee's information is safe.

Donna,

ViewMyPaycheck is an Intuit Workplace App Center application, you can read about the security here: https://workplace.intuit.com/appcenter/faq.aspx

Here is a quote from the page "Your data transmissions are secure and accessible 24/7. The Workplace infrastructure is the same data center that processes tax returns through TurboTax. Feel confident that your data is protected and accessible"

Your website is not user friendly to the employee.

Jody,

Can you elaborate a bit more? Are you having a specific problem using ViewMyPaycheck? What is not user friendly the ViewMyPaycheck.com page, the worplace experience, or the ViewMyPaycheck application itself?

Please let me know

This works great. Unfortunately it doesn't show any employer contributions and payments in its current incarnation. That would be a very welcome addition. I like my employees to know how much I have to pay, too, especially for their benefits package.

view my paycheck

Hi,

As David mention, ViewMyPaycheck only shows the items your paystub has, however the company contributions such as taxes (FICA, MC, FUTA and SUI) are not on the paystub because they are not a employee liability.

Changing your preferences in QB will get 401K matches, GTLI, and etc--items which the company paid but not taxes.

Hope this helps!

view my paycheck

Eric,

ViewMyPaycheck is going to show anything that is currently printing on your paper pay stub from QuickBooks. If you pay stub printing preferences in QuickBooks are printing what you want your employees to see, ViewMyPaycheck will show the same information.

QuickBooks 2009 and 2010 now have ViewMyPaycheck automatically installed, once you get the latest product and payroll updates.

I had my computer changed, I lost my direct link to the view my paycheck page. Can you help me get to where I need to be to VIEW MY PAYCHECK.

Far too many ads trying to sell me VMP stuff I don't want or need, just help me find my way back home.

Is this application totally free or is a trail version? I would like to use this program but need to know the hidden cost involved?

view my paycheck

The viewing paycheck functionality is free--no charge, no hidden costs.

I followed a link to this demo because it says "How many times have you had to reprint the pay stubs and W2's for your employees because they misplaced it or lost it?" I think reprinting W2s would be excellent, but the demo doesn't mention a word about that.

view my paycheck

Thanks for your suggestion Mike. We will add the W2 printing to the demo.

Are there any other options to have employees view their paychecks online? We would love to go with paperless paychecks.

view my paycheck

Sue,

Are you using a non-QuickBooks Payroll solution? We support QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. Your employees will be abe to view thei paychecks online with this application. Several of ViewMyPaycheck Customers are using it to go paperless.

view my paycheck

Where would my employees go to view their payroll information. Is there a viewmypayroll website that they would sign into?

view my paycheck

My work computer doesn't have sound, so the demo was difficult to understand. Is there any way you can add text for those of us in the dark ages?

Hi, I use QB Online Payroll. Is there any chance that this application will be available for the Online Version? I sure hope so. My employees would love it.

view my paycheck

I have been testing the beta version with a couple of employees. One question or issue.

Will there be a landing page to where employees can sign in without having to view all of the intuit labs mumbo jumbo and selecting view my paycheck option. This is very confusing to employees who do not necessarily need all the additional information of intuit labs.

view my paycheck

How much will this cost?

view my paycheck

Denise,

Our current plan is to provide this functionality (online access to payroll-related information) at no cost for current subscribers of QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

The goal for the Beta program is to learn from customers such as yourself so that we can improve the offering and deliver solutions that help save you time and money! If you have any questions about the program, or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at viewmypaycheck_support@intuit.com

Im a bookkeeper with multiple payroll clients currently on IOP and QBOE Payroll. Will i be able to administer this service to them? When will the service be available for me to offer to them?

view my paycheck

Ryan,

We are working on QBOE Payroll support. Currently only Desktop versions are supported.

We will send an update when QBOE Payroll support is available.

Thanks.

We would love to be part of this test program. We are new to QB payroll and just ended a service that had web-based
access to paystubs and W-2's. This is the one thing that we really miss from our old service.

How do you get this application?

view my paycheck

Does this service require Quickbooks Payroll service to work or can it be used with self-payroll or another service (ie ADT)?

view my paycheck

This service (ViewMyPaycheck) requires a current QuickBooks Payroll subscription.

This requires a QuickBooks Payroll subscription.

Around 12-2-08 Quickbooks Payroll was purchased and installed. Around 12-15-08 Quickbooks 2009 was installed. After the Quickbooks 2009 was installed, the payroll was entered in and correct, then another check for State of LA withholding printed with just state withholding on it. What do I do to correct this problem? Thanks

The good news is that the "View My Paycheck" team is working on a public landing page that will include links for a tour + test drives + simple signup! Stay tuned!

When will this app be out of beta testing and ready for use? We're ready!!

The new demo works great! Will the time entries post back to QuickBooks (desktop) automatically?

Hi Linda,

Can you provide some more detail on why you can't tour the site? Clicking the "take a tour" button above should ultimately take you to https://workplace.intuit.com/db/bdq39yhny/gl/PaycheckApp.html#

Please do not use the above link. Please use: http://www.ViewMyPaycheck.com.

I couldn't tour the site either, but was able to see it on youtube. This new free service will help our employees since many are "on the road" quite a bit and rarely hit the office to pick up their paystub. Can't wait until it's available!

Thanks for the feedback Michael. I have forwarded your comment onto our mobile team.

Hello,

I'm the Founder and President of an insurance agency.

How does QuickBooks intend on connecting with their customers who don't have an iPhone or BlackBerry? (90% of people have a mobile device other than a BlackBerry or iPhone).

Has QuickBooks considered a .mobi site?

I go to Intuit's Payroll.com on my T-Mobile Dash and I can't see the site...However, when I go Payroll.mobi the site loads fast and is very easy to read.

Is there a way we can put a "Forward this!" button on the post? I have a friend who I think would love this (he owns a consulting business with remote workers all over the world) - and would like a way to make sharing the information even easier. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

view my paycheck

I have a beta account to workplace.intuit.com, but I still can't get to the tour site :(

getting the following exception:
"The manager of this application has not granted you permission to access this application."

Anyways, this sounds like a cool idea :)

view my paycheck

What a sweet idea!

I really think employers would love a central place to allow employees online access to paystubs and W2s. (Browser independence is a plus!)
